"account": "In a surprising turn of events, Apple has unveiled a new MacBook Pro model featuring a touchscreen display, despite the late announcement. The M5 Pro and M5 Max models come equipped with a ProLED XDR display, boasting an impressive 2,000 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is the first time a MacBook Pro will offer touchscreen capabilities, following the introduction of the Dynamic Island on iPhones. The new laptop design is lighter and thinner, with the base model weighing in at just three pounds. Apple claims its ProMotion technology adjusts refresh rates based on usage, optimizing power efficiency during idle times and enhancing performance for gaming or graphics-intensive tasks. While Apple's entry into the touchscreen laptop market may not be revolutionary, the company hopes to leverage its iPhone's success by incorporating features like the Dynamic Island and App Store ecosystem. Pricing starts at $2,899 for a 14-inch model with 24GB of unified memory and 1TB of local storage, with higher-end options reaching $14,000 for 16TB of storage.",
