"account": "Xreal has launched its Aura smart glasses, featuring Android XR technology and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset, exclusively in the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. The glasses, which are available for pre-order at $1,099 for the 256GB version with 12GB of RAM, and $1,299 for the 16GB/512GB configuration, will ship in mid-November. Xreal co-founder and CEO Chi Xu praised the Aura as a \"defining moment for XR,\" emphasizing its ability to offer spatial computing without users feeling detached from their surroundings. The Aura boasts a lightweight design, weighing under 95 grams, thanks to its separate compute puck that houses the chips and battery. It also includes gesture controls and can be used as a trackpad. The glasses feature Sony micro-OLED prisms, delivering a 70-degree field of view and 1200p resolution at 120Hz. Notably, Aura can connect directly to a Nintendo Switch via USB-C, a feature not seen in other smart glasses. Additionally, Xreal unveiled two new accessories: a game controller designed with GameSir and a wireless portable keyboard for productivity use. Both versions of the Aura are available for pre-order, with a limited-time discount of $200 off the normal price until December 2026.",
