"account": "Apple unveiled a groundbreaking new MacBook Pro at its Pro and Tell event in Los Angeles, marking a significant departure from the company's longstanding design philosophy. The sleek new device features a thinner, lighter form factor and a dual OLED touchscreen display, powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The MacBook Pro comes in 14- and 16-inch models, priced starting at $2,899, with preorders now available. Apple's chief hardware officer, Johny Srouji, hailed the new MacBook Pro as a \"monumental step forward for the Mac,\" emphasizing the display's excellence and the integration of magic touch capabilities. The announcement follows rumors from early 2023, but still represents a surprising pivot, considering Apple's previous dismissal of touch-enabled MacBook innovations. The event also saw the release of an OLED iPad Mini, an M6-powered 14-inch MacBook Pro, an M6 iMac, and updates to Apple Creator Studio software.",
