"account": "Const. Mike McGrath, an RCMP officer, is facing an assault charge following an incident in Thompson, Manitoba. The allegations stem from an attempted arrest at the Thompson Regional Community Centre last year. According to the Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba, a physical altercation ensued when the man in question refused to confirm his identity to McGrath. The officer reportedly placed the man on the ground during the confrontation. The man was subsequently taken to a local hospital and later transferred to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for surgery after breaking his arm. McGrath has been charged with aggravated assault.",
