"account": "NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has revealed that he has always wanted Jay-Z to headline the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show. In an interview with Apple Music, Goodell stated, \"It was clear he wanted it to happen.\" He explained that Jay-Z's 30th anniversary year of his first album, his recent tour, and his status as the GOAT made him the perfect choice. Goodell added, \"He’s already got his vision; he already understands what he wants to do.\" Jay-Z and Roc Nation have been the league's live music entertainment strategist since 2019, and they extended their partnership in 2024. Goodell expressed his trust in Jay-Z's creative and business acumen, calling him a genius. The NFL announced Jay-Z as the headliner for Super Bowl LXI's halftime show, with the performance scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium on Valentine's Day 2027.",
