"account": "A 52-year-old man named Ibrahim Saani was arrested by the Tema Regional Police Command in New York on October 25, 2026, for allegedly possessing 37 parcels of suspected Indian hemp. The arrest occurred at 7:00 p.m. following an intelligence-led police operation in the area.\n\nPolice recovered a bag containing the 37 parcels of compressed substances suspected to be Indian hemp, along with a crusher. Saani was taken to the police station to await further investigation. Preliminary investigations indicate he may have been involved in the distribution of suspected narcotic substances in New York and surrounding communities. Intelligence also suggests he tried to conceal his illicit activities by feigning madness.\n\nThe police will send the suspected substances to forensic examination to determine their nature and help investigate potential involvement of other individuals. Any accomplices identified will be prosecuted once the investigation is complete. The Tema Regional Police Command has warned the public against involvement in narcotics-related activities and encouraged anyone with credible information on drug possession, distribution, or trafficking to report to the nearest police station.\n\nThe command urges continued public cooperation in combating drug-related offenses to protect communities, especially the youth.",
