"account": "Kevin Morby, the acclaimed musician, recently released a powerful protest song titled \"Nursery Rhyme\" featuring Lonnie Holley. This six-minute track is a raw and angry response to the ongoing issue of gun violence in America, particularly the tragic deaths of innocent children. Morby, who became a father earlier this year, penned the song as a reflection of his growing concern for the safety of his own children and those around him.\n\nThe single, available as a Bandcamp exclusive, is a pay-what-you-want download, with all proceeds going to Everytown for Gun Safety, an organization dedicated to reducing gun violence in the United States. Morby describes \"Nursery Rhyme\" as his darkest and most violent song to date, a six-minute rant about living in a society where guns are an omnipresent threat. The song, which ends with a surprise appearance from the Alabama visual artist and musician Lonnie Holley, aims to provide catharsis and anger management for listeners, particularly those who are parents.\n\nMorby acknowledges that the song stands as a darker and more violent sequel to his 2016 protest song \"Beautiful Strangers,\" and is released under a trigger warning due to its heavy themes. He hopes that the song will resonate with listeners, allowing them to express their own anger and find a sense of relief through the music. The artist emphasizes the urgency of the situation, stating that in a country where the \"powers-that-be worship inside the church of weapons of mass destruction,\" sometimes one simply needs to \"scream\" and express their feelings.",
