"account": "Four individuals lost their lives and six others sustained injuries after a heavily laden container truck lost control and overturned onto a passenger bus on Berger Bridge, near Eleko in Lagos State. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning when the truck collided with a Toyota Hiace bus heading in the same direction. Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, revealed details of the accident in a statement on Wednesday. Preliminary investigations suggested the truck was speeding uphill on the bridge when it hit the bus, causing the truck to overturn. Four adult males were found dead at the scene, while six others were injured with varying degrees of severity. The LASEMA team, along with the Federal Road Safety Corps and the Nigeria Police Force, secured the area, provided first aid to the injured, and transported them to Epe General Hospital for treatment. A private crane was used to recover the overturned truck and container, and the recovery process is still underway. Traffic management measures have been implemented to ensure safety along the corridor. The state government expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.",
