"account": "Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab officially opened the Saulah Muhammad Water Pumping Station in Gadap Town, following extensive improvements to the facility after several decades. During the ceremony, Wahab announced that the station's chlorination center had also been brought back into operation. The new pumping station is designed to enhance water supply to residential areas and housing societies situated along Memon Goth Road, including neighborhoods like Jafar Tayyar, Khokhrapar, and Firdous Colony.\n\nMayor Wahab pointed out that residents of Gulshan-e-Hadeed had been experiencing water supply challenges since Pakistan Steel Mills ceased providing the service. However, he noted that PPP representatives had initiated efforts to resolve the issue. In addition to the upgraded pumping station, Wahab revealed that a new pipeline capable of delivering 10 million gallons of water daily (MGD) had been installed to boost water availability in Lyari. Another pipeline has been erected along the Lyari Expressway, while measures are being implemented to curb water theft.\n\nLooking ahead, Wahab highlighted ongoing work to improve Memon Goth Road. Turning his attention to other public services, he mentioned that the reopened Spencer Eye Hospital was currently treating around 300 patients each day.",
