"account": "On October 28, South Korea's Media and Communications Commission imposed fines on tech giants Google and Apple for their restrictive app payment systems. The agency mandated corrective measures, with Google receiving a penalty of 42.9 billion won (approximately $32.35 million) and Apple facing a fine of 20.8 billion won. Apple expressed disagreement with the decision and stated that it was assessing options in line with South Korean laws. The company highlighted its collaboration with external developers to foster innovation via its App Store. Google declined to comment at the time of publication.",
