"account": "Seungri, the former member of K-pop band BigBang, has registered his marriage to his pregnant girlfriend from a non-celebrity background. Both are anticipated to welcome a son in January 2027. The couple has prepared a residence in Gangnam for their union. Despite the joyful news, Seungri, whose birth name is Lee Seung Hyun, is currently under police investigation and has been sued for aggravated assault. In August 2026, he is accused of threatening a man with a bottle of soju and assaulting him at a restaurant in southern Seoul. Lee's camp maintains he only picked up a soju bottle but denies any act of violence. The investigation is ongoing to clarify the incident's precise details due to conflicting accounts from both parties.\n\nLee has a history of legal troubles, having been previously charged with facilitating prostitution and overseas gambling related to the Burning Sun nightclub sex scandal. This scandal involved celebrities such as Jung Joon Young, Choi Jong Hoon of F.T. Island, and Lee Jong Hyun of CNBLUE. He was also charged with misappropriating funds and gambling in Las Vegas from 2013 to 2017. Seungri served an 18-month jail term in 2021 and was released in February 2023. In May 2024, Hong Kong authorities dismissed allegations that he had applied for a visa to open a nightclub in the region.",
