"account": "Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has stated he has never spoken ill of his predecessor, Nasir El-Rufai, despite concerns about their relationship and El-Rufai's ongoing detention. During an interview on Trust TV's Daily Politics, Sani affirmed his respect for El-Rufai and would not disclose specific actions demonstrating this regard. When asked about fears of El-Rufai's influence ahead of the next election, Sani responded that he had no problem with him and would never speak negatively of him. He also clarified that a supporter of his party who suggested El-Rufai remain in detention until after the election was speaking only for themselves and not Sani. Sani declined to reveal any private efforts he may have taken regarding El-Rufai's situation, emphasizing his preference for privacy. He dismissed claims of public disagreements between them, stating his position remained consistent since taking office. Sani maintained relationships with other former Kaduna State governors, using their input on various projects like road construction. He highlighted the value of learning from past experiences and consulting former governors like Namadi Sambo for guidance on future projects.",
