"summary": "The Royal Malaysian Customs Department at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently intercepted two significant drug smuggling attempts. On October 12, customs officers seized seven packages containing 7.28kg of cannabis flowers, valued at RM582,400, at the Pos Malaysia International Mail Centre, disguised as shipments of shoes and toys. The drugs were believed to be destined for export to a European country. A day earlier, on October 9, an enforcement team seized a box containing 9.114kg of ketamine, worth RM455,700, at a cargo terminal in the KLIA Free Trade Zone, hidden in aluminium packets and boxes declared as containing tool-related items. Both cases are under investigation under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Additionally, two Mini Cooper S cars were seized in Sepang on September 14 for being smuggled into the country without valid import permits and fitted with false registration numbers, estimated to be valued at RM180,000. The cases are being investigated under Section 135(1)(d) of the Customs Act 1967.",
