"account": "William Shatner expressed his deep sorrow over the death of his Star Trek co-star Walter Koenig, who passed away at the age of 90 on Sunday. In a statement shared on his X account, Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk alongside Koenig as Ensign Pavel Chekov, said he was \"deeply saddened\" by the news. He explained that although they didn't know each other well outside of the set, they had worked together in the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed. Shatner noted Koenig's genuine love for the Star Trek community, as seen at conventions where he preferred to interact with fans rather than remain behind a signing table. Shatner concluded by sending his condolences to Koenig's family, friends, and fans.",
