"account": "The New York Knicks, reigning champions, secured their first victory of the 2025-26 season by defeating the Detroit Pistons 111-97 at Madison Square Garden. With 27 points from Karl-Anthony Towns and 23 from Jalen Brunson, the Knicks overcame a slow start to pull ahead in the second half. This marked the first time since 1969 that reigning champions had begun a season 0-4. As one of the NBA's best teams, the Knicks recognized that \"Rome wasn't built in a day,\" emphasizing that it was a new year and a new team. After a sluggish start where they trailed early, the Knicks rallied for a remarkable comeback, leading by a single point at halftime and extending their lead to 25 points by the third quarter. The Pistons had a strong start, leading by 13 points at the beginning of the second quarter due to strong performances from Paul Reed and Cade Cunningham. However, the Knicks managed to restrict the Pistons to just 25 points in the final two quarters, ultimately securing the win. With a home game against Charlotte on the horizon, the Pistons are now 3-1 in the Eastern Conference.",
