"account": "DHAKA, Bangladesh experienced a toss win by Najmul Hossain Shanto's captaincy, who chose to bat against West Indies in the opening test of a two-match series. This move keeps Bangladesh's hopes alive to reach the World Test Championship final. Mushfiqur Rahim was omitted from the squad due to a hand injury, but Liton Das was recalled, missing a recent ODI series in the United Arab Emirates. The team's focus was to strengthen their spin department, adding off-spin bowler Nayeem Hasan to the lineup alongside Mehidy Hasan Miraz and left-arm fast bowler Taijul Islam. Bangladesh boasts a strong record, having secured three wins from their last six Test matches, including two consecutive victories over Pakistan and a historic triumph in Australia. The upcoming series against West Indies will be followed by Tests in South Africa and a home series against England. Despite a recent injury scare, West Indies aims to conclude this WTC cycle on a high note, with Justin Greaves, an in-form all-rounder, taking his spot in the starting lineup.",
