"account": "Bangladesh clinched the toss and opted to bat first against West Indies in the opening test match of a two-match series. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto made the decision, despite Bangladesh's recent form suggesting they are still in contention to reach the World Test Championship final. Mushfiqur Rahim was notably absent from the squad due to a hand injury, while Liton Das returned to the lineup after missing recent ODI games in the United Arab Emirates. The team bolstered their spin department by including Nayeem Hasan, alongside Mehidy Hasan Miraz and left-arm pacer Taijul Islam. Bangladesh has secured three wins in their last six tests, including a 2-0 series triumph over Pakistan and a historic victory in Australia. Following the West Indies encounter, Bangladesh will face two tests in South Africa and two at home against England. West Indies aims to conclude its last series of the WTC cycle on a high note, with in-form all-rounder Justin Greaves selected for the starting lineup despite a recent injury scare.",
