"account": "The Onitsha Sports Club has contacted the Federal and Anambra State governments, as well as security agencies, following an alleged invasion and looting of its facilities by thugs accompanied by police officers. Club Secretary Toochukwu Chidobelu, along with the President Titus Adirika and other committee members, revealed the incident to journalists. According to Chidobelu, the club's members were unaware of the attack until they arrived this morning and discovered that hoodlums led by some police officers had invaded the premises. The looting, with a cost exceeding N500 million, involved the removal of various items such as television sets, solar lights, and all the club's contents. Chidobelu appealed for assistance from the police, law enforcement agencies, and both state and federal governments, emphasizing the club's historical significance as a recreational center. The club predates the individuals claiming ownership, he noted. The incident occurred around 5pm yesterday and continued until midnight. When questioned about the police's involvement, Chidobelu stated that the officers claimed to have a court order to vacate the club, but were unable to present the document. He criticized the individuals responsible, pointing out that none of them could provide proof of ownership. Efforts to contact the Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra State were unsuccessful.",
