"account": "Apple is set to unveil its inaugural touchscreen MacBook Pro models tomorrow at the \"Pro and Tell\" event. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has revealed details on the upcoming OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro, which will come in 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, powered by the M5 Pro chip. Pricing for the new 14-inch model is expected to be $2,899, a significant jump of at least $700 from the current $2,199 starting price. The 16-inch model could launch at $3,399, making it the most expensive MacBook Pro to date. These touchscreen models will feature a thinner, lighter design, Dynamic Island, and a redesigned hinge to prevent screen movement when touched. Apple plans to continue selling the non-touch versions alongside the new touchscreen models. The new laptops will also utilize an improved cooling system to enhance airflow and reduce weight. Tim Cook approved the touchscreen MacBook Pro project four years ago, driven by customer demand. Apple's decision to introduce touchscreens was deemed necessary to keep up with laptop technology. Preorders for the new devices will open on October 28, with potential availability starting November 6.",
