"account": "Fenerbahçe head coach Ismail Kartal resigned from his position less than 24 hours after a loss to Istanbul rivals Galatasaray. The decision to step down was reached following discussions with the club leadership, with both parties agreeing to the mutual agreement. Fenerbahçe released a statement on Tuesday confirming the resignation, which came just a day after their 2-1 league defeat. The team currently sits fifth in the league standings, six points behind leaders Galatasaray.\n\nKartal had previously offered his resignation in September due to a fan throwing a bottle at his head during a match. Despite this, Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yildirim rejected the offer at the time. With this latest resignation, Kartal's fourth spell as coach of Fenerbahçe ends after a relatively short period. He previously managed the club in 2014-2015, 2022 and 2023-2024. The recent match against Galatasaray on Monday was marred by a post-match altercation between players from both sides, which required the intervention of police and security forces.",
