"account": "On Tuesday, officers from Naval Regional Command (Kodaeral) IV/Batam and BAIS' foreigner surveillance task force carried out an enforcement operation on Lumba Island in Kasu subdistrict, Belakang Padang district, Batam city. This joint effort between the Indonesian Navy and the Indonesian Military’s Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) successfully prevented 12 Vietnamese from leaving Batam city for Malaysia via an illegal seaport.\n\nThe Vietnamese nationals, comprising seven women and five men, were promptly handed over to the Batam Immigration Office for further immigration administrative enforcement. The operation commenced following intelligence reports and a thorough analysis of the movements of three foreigners, two Vietnamese and a Myanmar national, who were suspected of aiding human trafficking activities near the border.\n\nInitial investigations revealed that these foreigners not only aimed to unlawfully exit Indonesia but also had overstayed their visas. Rear Adm. Berkat Widjanarko, from Naval Regional Command (Kodaeral) IV/Batam, emphasized that the Navy's enforcement actions are a commitment to safeguarding maritime security against transnational crime.",
