"account": "Apple has announced it will replace iPhone Duo smartphones with screen issues shortly after the device was released. The highly-anticipated foldable phone, priced at £1,999 ($2,668) in the UK, has seen lines forming outside Apple stores worldwide upon its launch. Apple is aware of a problem affecting the inner display on a small number of units and has asked affected users to reach out for a replacement. The Duo's debut follows the company's efforts to revitalize its product lineup and compete with foldable phones from rivals. Some users reported lines appearing on the screen, as well as cracks near the centre crease that separates the two halves of the device. Others mentioned a grinding noise when opening the phone. The iPhone Duo's 7.6-inch inner display is secured by a central hinge, a complex mechanism that has proven problematic for some of Apple's competitors. Samsung's first foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold, faced early setbacks in 2019 when reviewers noted broken screens on the devices.",
