"account": "Thai authorities apprehended a 54-year-old Israeli man in Bangkok on Friday, suspected of luring women through dating apps, serving them cakes possibly laced with drugs, engaging in sexual activity with them, and covertly recording the encounters. Police seized methamphetamine, drug-making equipment, and a mobile phone filled with intimate videos during a raid at his Bangkok apartment. The suspect, identified as Tomer Kahiri, also known as \"Tom,\" \"Tommy,\" or \"Tom Yum Kung,\" had overstayed his visa by almost six years. He was arrested alongside a 44-year-old Thai woman, who was allegedly in possession of and using methamphetamine. The investigation stemmed from a tip received by Thailand's narcotics suppression authorities, who described the Israeli man as contacting women via dating apps and inviting them to his home. The woman arrested with him is suspected of possessing and using methamphetamine. The Israeli man was accused of possessing a dangerous drug, overstaying his visa, refusing a drug test, and disobeying law enforcement. Both suspects and evidence were transferred to Huai Khwang police station for further legal proceedings. The Israeli man denied the allegations against him, claiming he was a former Israeli soldier and businessman involved in textile exports, and had two children.",
"summary": "Police said the suspect did not have regular employment and spent most of his time at home, but had enough money to support himself.",
