"account": "Henderson, Nevada (AP) - Raiders coach Klint Kubiak, prior to interviewing, announced that Kirk Cousins will continue to serve as the starting quarterback with no controversies surrounding rookie Fernando Mendoza. Kubiak aimed to put an end to speculation about Mendoza taking over following Las Vegas' visit to the New York Jets. Kubiak stated, \"Fernando is going to play football,\" without providing a specific timeline. While Cousins has been performing exceptionally well, leading the league in touchdown passes, the team's offensive issues extend beyond the quarterback position. The running game has been ineffective, the offensive line has been struggling, and the defense has been giving up substantial points. Kubiak emphasized the importance of the team maintaining its performance and further developing Fernando, noting that the four-game losing streak has intensified the speculation about Mendoza's role.",
