"account": "The Trump administration is pursuing criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey for leaking classified information, according to documents unsealed in federal court. This marks a third potential case against Comey since President Donald Trump returned to office last year. Comey, a fierce critic of Trump, stated in a video release that the prosecution is an \"appalling abuse of the Department of Justice.\" The Justice Department argues that it is utilizing a common practice in federal courts to extend the 10-year statute of limitations for the case. Comey, who served as FBI Director under both Democratic and Republican administrations, had a contentious relationship with Trump, including refusing to pledge personal loyalty to the president during a private dinner. Trump subsequently fired Comey in May 2017 amidst an FBI investigation into potential Russian interference in the 2016 election.",
