"account": "Syria has shut down the Nasib border crossing with Jordan in response to recent airstrikes in Daraa province, halting both passenger movement and commercial exchanges. The General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs announced the closure on Tuesday, citing the need to ensure safety amidst the ongoing circumstances. The decision took effect on October 27, 2026, and will remain in place until further notice. The authority emphasized their commitment to monitoring the situation and implementing necessary safety measures. This move follows Jordanian airstrikes that targeted sites in rural Daraa, purportedly housing terrorist group members linked to the Karak attack in Jordan. Khaled Al-Omayan, Daraa's health director, reported that the Jordanian strikes resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians, comprising women and children.",
