"account": "Francis Lawrence, director of the upcoming Red Rising movie, shared insights about the project's status at Paramount following its shelved Netflix adaptation. Known for his work on the Hunger Games series, Lawrence has been attached to Red Rising for nearly a decade. After multiple regime changes at Netflix, the rights reverted back to Pierce Brown, the author of the YA sci-fi epic. Paramount, eager to bring the film to the big screen, welcomed the adaptation. Lawrence expressed excitement about the project, stating it deserved a theatrical experience with IMAX and IMAX screenings. The film is now a priority at Paramount, and a writer has been hired to work on the script.",
