"account": "Canada Nickel and Swiss Steel are in talks to form a strategic partnership for the supply of steel products from Canada. The agreement, signed between the two companies, outlines the potential collaboration under which Canada Nickel would provide Swiss Steel with access to approximately one million tonnes of semi-finished steel products annually, starting in 2030. This partnership aligns with Canada Nickel's strategy of focusing its industrial footprint while securing flexible access to competitive, low-carbon pre-material, according to Frank Koch, CEO of Swiss Steel. The news of the potential partnership comes as Canada Nickel advances its Crawford Nickel project in Timmins, Ontario, with the aim of transforming nickel-chromium magnetite concentrate into stainless- and specialty-steel products for both Canadian and European markets. Mark Selby, CEO of Canada Nickel, stated that the partnership highlights the country's shared economic and industrial priorities, which can be translated into commercial opportunities. Ontario's Minister of Northern Economic Development and Growth, George Pirie, described the collaboration as a \"perfect example\" of how Northern Ontario products can benefit the world, reinforcing the region's role in building secure supply chains, driving long-term economic growth, and strengthening Canada's position in global markets.",
