"account": "Russian forces have ramped up their shelling of Epicentr K retail chain facilities across Ukraine in a 48-hour period, according to the company's Facebook posts. Hypermarkets and infrastructure in Uman, Pervomaisk, Dubno, and Kovel were hit, with three people injured. This follows earlier attacks on Epicentr K shopping centers in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Poltava. A Russian ballistic attack on Kyiv destroyed an Epicentr K hypermarket on Oct. 21, and fires broke out at a nearby postal cargo facility and shopping center. In Kharkiv, an attack on Oct. 24 destroyed a shopping center, complicating rescue efforts and injuring a rescuer. The threat of further strikes complicated rescue operations, and a facility damaged in an Aug. 27 drone attack was hit again. Epicentr K, founded by Oleksandr and Halyna Hereha in 2003, operates 72 shopping centers across Ukraine with a total retail area of over 2 million square meters and employs around 38,000 people. The company generated Hr. 81.2 billion ($1.9 billion) in 2025.",
"summary": "Epicentr K said its retail and warehouse facilities were damaged in attacks over the past several days. The company reported damage in Dubno, Kharkiv, Kovel, Kyiv, Pervomaisk, Poltava, Uman, Vinnytsia and Zaporizhzhia.",
