"account": "Jordan launched airstrikes in southern Syria following a deadly church attack that was linked to militant groups in the area. On Monday, the country's Royal Air Force carried out strikes against what it described as militant hideouts in the region, after it was confirmed that the perpetrators of the attack belonged to terrorist organizations operating in the area. So far, Syrian authorities have not commented on the matter, and it is uncertain if the airstrikes were coordinated with Damascus.\n\nEarlier in the day, Jordan's Public Security Directorate announced the arrest of three individuals suspected of carrying out a civilian attack inside a church in the village of Hammoud, located in Karak province, southern Jordan. The directorate explained that specialized investigation and raid teams, working in collaboration with other security agencies, managed to locate the attackers early Monday. After conducting search operations since the incident, the teams found the suspects barricaded inside an abandoned house in Karak province, who refused to surrender and opened fire on the security forces.\n\nThe security forces responded according to engagement protocols, successfully subdued the suspects, and arrested them all, with no injuries reported among the security personnel. During the search, firearms and ammunition were seized from the suspects after they were subdued.",
