"account": "In a thrilling game, Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates successfully kicked a 22-yard field goal to secure a 20-17 victory against the Green Bay Packers. With just 3:21 remaining on the clock, Bates came into play after D.J. Wonnum blocked a Green Bay field goal and ran the clock out. Jahmyr Gibbs fumbled the ball at the Green Bay 3-yard line instead of scoring in the final minute, and Jared Goff took a knee with 27 seconds left, leaving Bates with the final opportunity.\n\nAfter the game, Richard Silva of The Detroit News inquired about what could possibly compare to the satisfaction of a game-winning kick. Bates pondered for about ten seconds before responding with a succinct two-word answer: \"Getting married.\" This season, Bates has been an instrumental force for the Lions, displaying remarkable consistency. He has successfully made 10 out of 10 field goals and 22 out of 22 extra points, including a 54-yarder, contributing 52 points to Detroit's total. The Lions' defense also played a crucial role in the victory, as they neutralized the Packers' attempts, allowing Bates to focus on his task. The Packers' loss was marked by several pivotal moments, including a penalty on a crucial drive that Detroit capitalized on with Bates' game-winning kick.",
