"account": "Chris Brown, the R&B singer, avoided jail time after he struck a man twice in the head with a glass tequila bottle at a London nightclub. The incident occurred in Mayfair's Tape club on the early hours of February 19, 2023. Brown received an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for the attack, while his vocal coach, rapper Omololu Akinlolu, received a four-month suspended sentence. Both pleaded guilty to affray, and were also ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. Judge Tony Baumgartner described Brown's use of the glass bottle as \"plainly dangerous\" and said the violence of the attack was \"intense\". The court heard that Brown's attack on music producer Abraham 'Abe' Diaw left the victim in need of hospital treatment for injuries. CCTV footage showed Brown striking Diaw four times with the bottle, twice to his head and once to his shoulder. The judge noted that Brown's fame and professional standing did not grant him special treatment, as the law applies equally to everyone. However, he also acknowledged Brown's guilty plea, compliance with bail conditions, and the impact a custodial sentence would have on Brown's children, stating that his risk of further offending is low. Brown, 37, is one of the biggest stars in the industry.",
