"account": "Apple announced today a new iPad Mini Smart Folio featuring TechWoven fabric, marking the first time the company has introduced this material to an iPad cover. The new design replaces the previous polyurethane option, which has been a staple for iPads since the original model launched in 2010. Apple first incorporated TechWoven into the iPad 2 Smart Cover in 2011, maintaining its use in subsequent Smart Covers and Smart Folios until now.\n\nThe new Smart Folio, priced at $79 in the U.S., reflects a $20 increase from the previous-generation model. It comes in two color options: Navy Blue and Taupe, matching the Midnight and Starlight finishes of the iPad Mini. Apple notes that the redesign includes a two-panel construction, which magnetically attaches to the iPad Mini and offers an adjustable viewing angle range. This design provides enhanced versatility and a greater range of motion.\n\nPre-orders for the new Smart Folio will begin on Wednesday, October 28, coinciding with the launch of the iPad Mini. Availability will start on Friday, November 6.",
