"account": "Google has announced an expansion of its 3D meeting booths, providing military families with access to Google Beam in over 20 locations worldwide. Originally known as Project Starline, Google Beam has seen several advancements. Following its initial availability at the corporate level, Google has now made the 3D video conferencing technology accessible to users in co-working spaces through a partnership with HP. Today, Google has revealed another expansion, with video booths of Google Beam set to be available at 20 USO locations globally. This move follows a pilot program that was launched for military members and their families in Poland and Texas. The partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO) aims to help service members bridge the distance through the HPDimension with Google Beam video communication solution. The 3D video communication technology allows families to feel as though they are stepping into the same space, enabling a new level of connection. The expansion will initially cover Grafenwöehr, Germany, and Fort Hood, Texas, in addition to the existing locations. Google collaborated with Kyle Hausmann-Stokes, a filmmaker and veteran, to create a docuseries showcasing how Google Beam is being utilized in the military. The series follows four families in Bliss, Texas, as they utilize the 3D video booths to go beyond traditional video calls. The series can be viewed on Google's YouTube channel.
