"account": "The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has canceled its constituency-level election in Amenfi East, located in Ghana's Western Region. This decision came after difficulties were encountered during the party's nationwide internal polls. The cancellation was reported as one of the challenges faced during the elections, which also experienced delays in some areas due to issues with distributing ballot papers. Despite these setbacks, the NDC expressed satisfaction with the overall conduct of the elections, stating that the process represented an improvement over previous elections. The party's Acting Director of Elections and IT, Mahdi Jibril, confirmed the cancellation during an interview with Channel One TV on October 25. Jibril noted that the NDC is pleased with the process overall, while also acknowledging the cancellation in Amenfi East and other logistical problems as part of the exercise's satisfactory outcome.",
