"account": "Simba, a Singapore telecommunications operator, may face fines, suspension or cancellation of its licence due to alleged unauthorised spectrum use and regulatory breaches, according to new details from its parent company, Tuas. The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has issued Simba a notice to show cause, outlining six allegations involving unauthorised spectrum use, telecom regulations violations and concerns about the company's governance and compliance practices. These allegations include intentional use of radio frequency bands for unauthorised purposes, failure to comply with an order to produce documents, and deploying 5G indoor radio access network equipment without proper authorisation. The regulator has threatened financial penalties of up to 10% of the affected company's annual turnover or S$1 million, whichever is higher, and other actions such as suspension or cancellation of spectrum rights or licence. Simba has until Nov 16 to respond to the notice.",
