"account": "US President Donald Trump is reportedly pursuing Viktor Orban as a potential candidate for the UN secretary-general role, according to sources from three countries. US officials reportedly met with Orban to discuss the proposition, which caught his interest despite his initial reservations about his political ideology. The US believes Russia and China would also back Orban, potentially making him a joint candidate with their support. A US State Department official stated that Orban could garner significant backing from eight members of the Security Council, with potential support from up to 10 members. However, the report did not confirm any public endorsements from key countries like the UK and France, which hold veto power. The controversy surrounding Orban's potential candidacy could arise from his ties to authoritarian leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and his controversial policies in Hungary. Meanwhile, another candidate, Emirati diplomat Lana Nusseibeh, is also gaining traction in the race.",
