"account": "Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has cautioned Christians against purchasing Christmas attire without first fulfilling their religious duty of paying tithes. In a sermon leading up to the festive period, the cleric implored believers to prioritize tithing before spending money on personal needs or festive clothing. \"Don't buy a Christmas cloth when you have not paid tithe. It's dangerous. It's very dangerous,\" he cautioned. The pastor stressed the importance of paying what he deems to be the correct amount, urging Christians to refrain from treating tithing casually or contributing whatever sum they desire. He recounted instances where he attributed vehicle tyre bursts to drivers who allegedly failed to pay their tithes. Ibiyeomie also shared a story of a driver employed to drive his Rolls-Royce, whose tyres burst while travelling, which he linked to the driver's alleged non-payment of tithes. He emphasized that some misfortunes experienced by Christians should not automatically be blamed on the devil, and instead, believers should examine their religious commitments. He warned against neglecting tithing during the Christmas season, suggesting that failing to do so could impact their families.",
