"account": "Iran's foreign ministry has confirmed that negotiations with mediators are still ongoing, according to a Sunday statement. The ministry accused the United States of blocking progress by persisting with its \"unilateral\" demands. Tehran maintains that it has not abandoned the negotiating table and continues to communicate with mediators.\n\nSources familiar with the situation told Reuters that Qatari mediators are currently in Tehran, aiming to de-escalate regional tensions. These mediation efforts are being coordinated alongside discussions with the United States.\n\nMeanwhile, a senior intelligence official from the former administration of US President Donald Trump revealed in a memo obtained by Reuters that Iran is ramping up its efforts to target American citizens. The official noted that Iran's attempts to harm US individuals have reached \"advanced stages.\" This warning came after the United States reduced its staff at the mission in Saudi Arabia in recent days, following a surge in attacks by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group.",
