"account": "Several incumbent leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Techiman South constituency were defeated in their party's recent elections, including the constituency chairman Saliu Alhaji Nuhu. The elections took place at Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman and saw Kwasi Boakye emerge victorious, receiving 1,203 votes compared to Nuhu's 653. Other incumbents who lost their positions include Amaalo Yussif, Moro Ibrahim, and Abu Abdul Majid. The newly elected chairman, Boakye, pledged to focus on securing the Techiman South parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 general election, stating that the constituency has long been a difficult target for the NDC. Other notable victors include Baba Issah as communications officer, Baadire Douglas Calib as secretary, Pienaa Eric Kwame as assistant secretary, and Hajia Mariama, who retained her position as Women's Organizer.",
