"summary": "Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a former Osun lawmaker and APC chieftain, has called on Nigerians and opposition figures to support President Bola Tinubu instead of subjecting him to harsh criticism amid current economic hardships. Speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyintiloye argued that the President is committed to addressing the country's challenges and requires the understanding of the public.\n\nAccording to Daily Post Nigeria, Oyintiloye stated that the President inherited a battered economy and has introduced major reforms, such as floating the naira and removing the petrol subsidy, to stabilize the nation. While acknowledging that these policies have caused difficulties, he maintained they are necessary measures that have begun to yield positive results. Punch reports that the former lawmaker urged opposition figures specifically to stop criticizing the President over economic issues.",
