"account": "Five new-tab extensions for Firefox were tested for two seconds of user attention. The options were Tabliss, nightTab, Bonjourr, Weather & Clock Dashboard, and a custom extension built by the reporter. Tabliss allows the most customization with a huge community of shared configs. nightTab offers beautiful dark themes but lacks a live weather widget. Bonjourr provides an iOS-inspired design that works instantly but requires location permission for weather data. Weather & Clock Dashboard offers live weather and world clocks out of the box with minimal setup. The reporter built the Weather & Clock Dashboard extension, which requires no configuration for basic weather data. Users seeking no-setup weather functionality prefer Weather & Clock Dashboard, while those wanting maximum customization opt for Tabliss. Aesthetic preferences lead to choices between nightTab and Bonjourr. All extensions are free on the Firefox Add-ons store and do not collect personal data.",
