"summary": "Moonshot AI has introduced Kimi K3.1 Pro, which the Beijing-based startup describes as its most capable 3-trillion-parameter-class open-weight model. The company plans to publish the model's weights by Nov. 4. To address concerns that autonomous AI could assist in hacking, Moonshot AI stated it has reduced the model's cyber-offensive capabilities by removing cyber-related data from the training corpus and reinforcement-learning environments, though it has retained general coding skills.\n\nThe debut of Kimi K3.1 Pro has drawn scrutiny due to allegations that influencers were asked to promote the model without disclosing a commercial relationship to Moonshot, according to VentureBeat. This scrutiny follows reports that the model scores high on third-party benchmarks.",
