"account": "Austin Abrams has had a string of successful projects in recent years, ranging from film to television. While he is primarily known for his work on screen, his early career as a TV actor is still notable. Abrams first gained recognition for his recurring role on the HBO series \"Euphoria,\" where he played Ethan, one of the few well-adjusted characters in the ensemble. He also appeared in the TV show \"The Walking Dead\" during seasons 5 and 6, portraying Carl Grimes' ill-fated frenemy, Ron Anderson. Among Abrams' more light-hearted TV roles is his performance in the 2020 Netflix series \"Dash & Lily.\" The romantic comedy, based on the book \"Dash & Lily's Book of Dares\" by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, follows the journey of Dash, played by Abrams, who initially despises Christmas. In a conversation with Business Insider, Abrams reflected on portraying Dash, stating that he had to adapt to the show's romantic and sentimental tone, contrasting it with his previous work in darker series like \"Euphoria.\" Abrams noted that Dash's aversion to the holiday season stems from a longing for familial connection, which he attributes to the character's deep-seated personal grief. Abrams appreciated that the show was filmed on location in New York City, contributing to its authentic and nostalgic atmosphere. He expressed his satisfaction with the series and its ability to convey a warm, seasonal feeling, despite its less wholesome nature. The entire eight-episode run of \"Dash & Lily\" is currently available for streaming on Netflix, and it is highly recommended for viewers seeking a heartwarming holiday tale.",
