"summary": "The Nigeria Police Force has cautioned the public against paying for bail, stating that both the giver and receiver of such payments risk arrest and prosecution. Head of the Complaint Response Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Awuf Jonah, emphasized during a sensitization rally in Lagos that police bail is free and that no one should be expected to pay for bail when arrested. The rally aimed to educate residents on reporting police misconduct and promoting accountability, with the partnership between the NPF Complaint Response Unit and the Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative.",
