"account": "Taryn Teh and her daughter Joyce Chin, co-founders of MAD Coffee in Puchong, turned their shared love for specialty coffee into a thriving business. Teh, with 27 years of corporate experience, and Chin, a fresh graduate with marketing and e-commerce expertise, opened the café in 2022. After the pandemic, Teh desired a fresh venture in the field she loved, while Chin had gained insight into the F&B industry during her work with relatives' café in Kedah. MAD Coffee, located in a minimalist, Japanese-inspired space, offers a house blend of Brazilian beans with nutty, chocolatey notes, alongside seasonal blends like a fruitier combination of Brazilian, Colombian, and Ethiopian beans. The café's signature drinks include the Mont Blanc, a refreshing drink with espresso, orange-infused cream, and homemade orange syrup, and the banana Biscoff iced matcha, a fun twist on the matcha craze. The Rasa Sayang chiffon cake, a feather-light pandan coconut cake with velvety ube cream, is a personal favorite. For Teh and Chin, running a business together offers the opportunity to bounce ideas off each other and grow together, making the café a place where they feel supported by their staff and customers.",
