"account": "Bradley Whitford, co-star of the Netflix series \"The Diplomat,\" recently highlighted a continuity error involving a shooting scene he performed in \"The West Wing.\" During an appearance on Entertainment Tonight, alongside \"West Wing\" alum Allison Janney, Whitford pointed out that both he and Janney's characters have been shot on camera in their respective shows. Whitford remembered the scene from the Season 2 premiere of \"The West Wing,\" where Deputy White House Chief of Staff Josh Lyman was shot by assassins. Janney related by noting that her character, President Grace Penn, was shot during the final moments of \"The Diplomat\" Season 4 premiere. Whitford then commented on the oddity of this plot twist, saying he should have sustained a scar, to which Janney added that this detail had never been brought up before. The fourth season of \"The Diplomat,\" which premiered on Netflix on October 15, has been well-received, garnering 4.8 million views in its first four days of release. The show remains available for streaming on Netflix.",
