"account": "Call of Duty movie director Peter Berg is sharing more about his upcoming live-action adaptation, promising a film with a strong soul that delves into the cost of war. The movie, based on the Modern Warfare portion of the FPS franchise, will focus on complex characters like Captain Price, Soap, Ghost, and Alex, who are not cartoonish or comic book-style figures. Berg emphasizes the nuanced storylines of these characters, acknowledging the violence and hardware involved but highlighting the underlying exploration of war's toll and the weight carried by those who choose to fight. Despite past criticism of video games, Berg now expresses admiration for Modern Warfare's characters and aims to do justice to the franchise and its fans. His vision for the film, which is set to premiere on June 30, 2028, will incorporate the real-life cost of war with a strong soul that resonates with Taylor Sheridan's perspective.",
