"account": "A deleted Father’s Day post from U.S. congresswoman Ilhan Omar has reignited questions about her identity and immigration records. In 2013, Omar posted on X that \"Happy Father’s Day to my aabo Nur Said, I am forever grateful to Allah for giving me the best father …\". The post, which called her father \"Nur Said,\" has resurfaced amid a federal investigation into possible false statements on immigration and naturalization documents. The Congressional Black Caucus had previously referred to Omar's father as \"Nur Omar Mohamed\" in a 2020 post upon his death. Different sources attribute different names to her father, with some quoting Oxford University historian Mohamed Haji Ingiriis calling him \"Nur Said Elmi Mohamed.\" While Somali names typically consist of a person's own name, their father's name, and their grandfather's name, similar names do not necessarily imply a familial connection. According to Fox News, Omar's spokesperson stated that \"Nur Said\" was her father's childhood nickname and that he used it on a public page. The spokesperson added that the post was deleted due to threats received by her and her family. Omar and her office have consistently denied any wrongdoing, calling the probe a political attack. Recently, a statement from Omar's spokesperson was shared online, claiming that her former husband is not her brother and denying the existence of any conspiracy theory suggesting otherwise.",
