"account": "Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Commandant-General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, announced on Saturday that he will not campaign for any politician in the upcoming 2027 general elections. His remarks came in response to criticism over his inclusion in the Kano State All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Advisory Committee. The committee, headed by Kano APC chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa, had listed Daurawa, along with Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, as members. Daurawa, emphasizing his non-political stance, expressed his hope that future leaders would uphold justice, show compassion for the poor, and work to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians. He specifically called for leaders who are truthful, trustworthy, and God-fearing, urging them to put the people's interests above their own. While Daurawa did not comment directly on his appointment to the APC committee, he stressed his commitment to promoting justice and the well-being of the Nigerian people.",
